দুধে পানি ঢালা হলো না  নবীজীর শহর মদীনা তখন আঁধার রাতের চাদর মুড়ি দিয়ে গভীর ঘুমে নিঝুম। কোথাও কোন সাড়া শব্দ নেই। কোন কোন ঘর থেকে শুধু ক্ষীণ কণ্ঠে ভেসে আসছে তাহাজ্জুদের তেলাওয়াত কিংবা দু'আ মুনাজাত। এটা অবশ্য রাতের মদীনার পরিচিত আওয়াজ। সেই সময় মদীনার নির্জন পথে দুতি মানুষের ছায়া অতি সন্তপর্ণে হেঁটে চলেছে। কেন? কি তাদের উদ্দেশ্য কে জানে!  এক ঘর থেকে একটি নারী কণ্ঠের আওয়াজ পেয়ে ছায়া দুটি থেমে গেলো। এতো রাতে কীসের কথা! তাদের কৌতূহল হলো। তাই আরো কাছে গিয়ে একেবারে ঘরের সাথে লেগে দাঁড়ালো। সেই নারী কণ্ঠ ব্যস্ত হয়ে বলছে- লায়লা! এই লায়লা! ওঠো, তাড়াতাড়ি ওঠো।  এবার এক বালিকার কণ্ঠ- কেন মা, কী হয়েছে? ― দুধে পানি মেশাও, তবেই না বেশি লাভ হবে, আমাদের অভাব দূর হবে।  ― আম্মা, আমীরুল মুমিনীন ওমর যে নিষেধ করেছেন!  ― বোকা মেয়ে! ওমর কি আর এখন দেখছেন! তাছাড়া আমরা গরীব, অতসব ভাবলে কি আমাদের চলে?  ― কিন্তু ওমরের রব যে দেখছেন! ― ( কিছুক্ষণ নিরবতার পর ) মা, তুমি থিক বলেছো। আমার চোখ খুলে দিয়েছো। আখেরাতের বরবাদি থেকে আমাকে রক্ষা করেছো।  সেই রাতে দুধে আর পানি মেশানো হলো না। তখন প্রা...

He is hired by the villagers to make chairs, tables, benches, doors, windows etc. He is also asked to do small repair work. In the rural area, he does not find work everyday. He is not well-off. He can not earn much. He lives from hand to mouth. He has an artistic mind. He makes many beautiful and fashionable furniture. He makes many attractive designs on the wooden furniture. He tries his best to do his work with skill because his work needs much skill. His success as a carpenter depends on his skill. In the past the rich and wealthy people would hire a carpenter to make beautiful and fashionable furniture with attractive designs. Though he is not well educated, his work is no less important at all. Rather he renders a great service to us.

A Teacher A teacher is an architect of a nation. He plays an important role in building up an educated nation. He dispels the darkness of ignorance from the lot of a nation. He is an actor, so to speak. He has to suit his act according to the need of his audience which is his class. He is able to hold the attention and interest of his students. He is a clear speaker with a good, strong pleasing voice which is under his control. He does not sit motionless before his class. He makes lessons interesting to the students. He makes his students confident and proves them clever. Everybody has something valuable inside him. A good teacher discovers the treasure hidden inside each student. He also wants the students happy and for this he keeps them busy. A good teacher never hankers after money. His only thought is how he can present the nation as a good citizen. 

My Best Friend

My Best Friend A friend is one, who has the feelings of friendship. We can't go in this age of global relationship without friendship. A good friend is a heavenly bliss to us. I have a good friend. I have known him for more than seven years. At school, from a hard quarrel our friendship started. He He quarreled with me for a specific ground, but I was very cruel to him. Even I hit him seriously, but he didn't take it otherwise. In spite of reverse attitude, he remained calm and quiet.  It pulled me near him and at last, he has become my best friend. Annual Prize-Giving Ceremony of Our School

Annual Prize-Giving Ceremony of Our School  The prize-giving ceremony of our school was held on 2nd April in the school compound. We decorated the school building very tastefully. The function began just at 10 am with recitation from the Holy Quran. The principal of P.N. College was in the chair. The Headmaster read out his report. Then the main ceremony began. ⇾  My First Day At School ⇾  A Book Shop ⇾  Dictionary The Headmaster called each recipient by name and the president gave away the prizes and shook him by the hands. I got two prizes. When the formal meeting came to the end, we staged a short drama to entertain the guests which was highly appreciated by the audience. This being over, the Headmaster thanked the president for the trouble he took in coming to the function. A concluding song suited to the occasion was sung by student of class 8.
